Ayurvedic Health Educator - Level 1 (AHE 101) - 450 Hrs
Ayurvedic Health Educator AHE101 with specialization in either YOGA THERAPY, NUTRITION, MEDITATION, or AYURVEDIC HERBS. This course is aimed at Yoga Teachers, Herbalists, Nutritionists Alternative Health Practitioners, and, other Health professionals who want to incorporate Ayurveda into their existing practice. We also accept previous course credits and transfer them to this course (upto 100 Hrs Maximum) for yoga teachers registered with Iayrt, or, yoga alliance. Credits for Nutritionists and Herbalists than can be accepted are upto 50 CEs.
This course is recognized by both National Ayurvedic Medical Association as well as International Association of Yoga Therapy

PROGRAM TITLE:

This course has the following generic guideline.
25 Hrs Ayurveda and the Mind (Manasa101)
50 Hrs Ayurvedic Ahara (Anut101)
50 Hrs Ayurvedic Dravya Ahrb101)
150 Hrs Choice of any of the following Electives:
(Energywork, Reiki, Pranic Healing, Pranayama, Meditation 101, Bhagavat Gita 101, Aromatherapy 101, Jyotish Vedic Astrology, Vastu, and Sanskrit, Mantras, Restorative yoga, Yoga Therapy, Anatomy and Physiology for Yoga Therapy work, Integrative Yoga Therapy protocols for specific ailments)
50 Hrs Research and Assignments one of the Electives - Research and Case Study work incorporating principles of Ayurvedic Diet, Ayurvedic Herbs as well as -- any one of the following protocols
*Yoga Therapy Research and Case studies with specifically working one to one with clients with joint pains, working with menopausal women
* Ayurvedic Herbs and Formulations for Vata, Pitta and Kapha related issues
*Ayurvedic Nutrition and Diet plans
25 Hours of Online Teaching at our college, or, any other location (internship/externship) required as part of the AHE Level 1 course.
** Yoga therapy students are required to come to our location, or, volunteer or teach for 50 Hours at a location near their residence, or, at our location for this course. Existing yoga teachers can use their own classes for research.

Training Methodology - Students get access to our VIRTUAL CAMPUS, as well as our educational wiki, resource center. Student receive handouts, a workbook and assignment books.
Student can log in online for a LIVE virtual classes with an actual instructor 2-3 times a week. If the student misses a class, recordings are available. Make up classes also available upon request. Online Whiteboard, videoconferencing is part of the course.
