Introduction to Ayurvedic Health IAH 101

This is a FOUNDATION course in Ayurveda and serves as a Pre Requisite to advance courses. New Batch beginning July 11th.

Curriculum-

By the end of this 100 hours, student is expected to have a basic working knowledge of the following:

*Ayurvedic History
*Ayurvedic Mythology
*Ayurvedic Concepts of Health and Disease
*The Cause of Disease - A Classical Ayurvedic Perspective
*Ayurvedic Anatomy and Physiology

List and Define:

A .Ten pairs of opposite qualities
B. Five element theory
C. Tridosha theory
D. Subdoshas
E. Dhatus
F. Kalas
G. Srotas
H. Agni
I. Ama
J. Ojas
K. Nadis

Final Assessment will consist of

* Prakruti vs. Vikruti (Determining Dosha and Imbalance of a volunteer)
* Basic knowledge of the 'Rhythms of Nature' - Daily Routine, and Seasonal Cleansing Plan
* 2 Basic Herb Protocals
* 2 Basic Yoga Therapy

(Determining a healing plan that includes exercise, lifestyle recommendations, seasonal Detox therapies, herbs and Daily Routine. Experiential based learning with case studies.)

FEES:
Distant Learning Only - 100 Hours Online -$599 only

Classroom and Distant Learning Blended - 80 hours online, 20 hours classroom on location and/or Virtual Classroom.

Training Methodology - Student will receive handouts, a workbook,and there will be online webinars and lectures every month. Private clinicals, Online Whiteboard, videoconferencing option is also available.

Classroom Hours - In the 20 classroom hours, there are 8 LIVE Classroom Hours and or Online Virtual Classes OR any Classroom Workshop and some clinical hours. Four clinical Hours, or internship is dine in the clinic under your teacher.
