Pre Requisite: Introduction to Ayurveda Yoga Therapy 150 Hrs. Practicing Yoga Teacher, or practicing yoga for at least 2 years seriously.

This program includes additional 300 hours of online and onsite workshops leading to a total of 450 Hrs of Yoga Therapy Contact Hours.

Course Number 2: Ayurveda and the Mind (Manasa 101)

 Introduction to Counseling
 Meditation. Project on three different meditation styles.
 Citta and Manasa (mind) and its Properties, Location of Mind. Difference between Mind and Brain. Heart Chakra.
 Manovaha Srotas.
 How to control the citta and mind through different protocols. (Dhyana yoga,shavasana, meditation styles).
 Manasa Disorders from perspective of Ayurveda, Kapha Mind, Pitta Mind, Vata Mind, Glossary - Nirukti,
 Ayurvedic perspective on disorders of Sleep, Hoarding, Tamas, Rajas and Phobias. Lecture Content- Pancha Kosha - Five Layers,
 Create acounseling questions set for your client, and, short workbook in order to get a sign off for the course.

 Yoga Therapy for imbalances of Seven Dhatus
 Yoga therapy for Srotas- eg. Annavaha srotas (GI tract) and digestive imbalances

Course Format - Blended. Online 'live; and distant learning. This course may offer one weekend workshop which can be attended online via webex, or, onsite.

Student receives course booklets as well as audio, video, and study aids. Student attends classes online, as well as onsite workshop and internship/externship.
